Crystal Summer Bear is a branding, lifestyle and fashion photographer and director. She was recently a finalist in the One Eyeland Awards for her creative work in a Mad Max inspired high-end fashion production.
She's been published in No. 8 magazine and works closely with TV Director and Producer Kevin Michael Schmitz and several lifestyle and fashion productions throughout the year.
As the great great granddaughter of the legendary Julian P Graham she has been blessed with an eye for creating imagery with connection and emotion. Like Graham she loves to travel and meet new people throughout the world.
Her storytelling style is dynamic and inspiring allowing her to help entrepreneurs and businesses build their brands and increase their reach and revenue.

What to expect when you hire Crystal Summer Bear?
*Let's chat!
A first phone call, is like a first date. We will get to know each other a bit better and decide whether a 2nd date (a consultation) is in order.
*Schedule your consultation!
Time to meet face to face, either in person or via zoom. The consultation is where we learn more about your brands specific needs and desires and how we can help create an impactful story that markets to your ideal client.
*Let's put together a time table!
Branding, lifestyle, fashion and even corporate photography often has many moving parts. Often there will be multiple planning sessions in order to ensure all aspects run smoothly and on the necessary dates needed to keep any deadlines.
*The Session or production
Depending on the scale of your session/production, the day of your photo & video shoot can last anywhere from an hour for our custom monthly subscription branding package for smaller businesses, to a multi-day production. One size does not fit all.
*The delivery
After the session, we will edit and deliver your photos and video as agreed upon in our multiple planning session. This may vary from the next day to multiple weeks and will be delivered via an online gallery.

Frequently Asked Questions
*How much experience do you have?
I have photographed hundreds of professionals in the bay area and have been hired by companies such as Slack to photography their numerous events and complimentary headshots to the underserved.
*Where are the headshots completed?
Headshots can be scheduled at my studio, outdoors, or in your office. The session fee includes travel in Contra Costa and Alameda Co. San Francisco and the South Bay will incur a $50 fee.
*What's included?
The creative fee includes a planning session, my time, experience and talent, and use of my professional equipment and backdrops. Unless otherwise noted in the invoice and contract, images are purchased after the session. Pre-payment of a specific number of images is always an option:)
*how are the images delivered?
Images are delivered via an online gallery that can be booked marked and accessed for up to a year. All images can be delivered via a zip-folder or individually.
*How long does it take to deliver the photos?
Usually 1 - 2 weeks however a rush delivery is an option you can add to your order for as quick as a 24 hour turn time.

*Where does these sessions take place?
A branding session is a cohesive set of images that showcase your brand, your services and/or your products, unlike photos of just your formal self, like headshots. For me, I showcased myself with my camera, my suitcase, working on a computer, drinking coffee, reading and dressed up, casual and just showing a bit of who I am.
Each branding session can include lifestyle images of yourself, your products, living life, etc. The sky is a limit!
*What's a branding or lifestyle shoot?
The location really depends on the scope of the shoot. This can range from a studio, to on location to several locations.
*What is the investment?
The price is usually very customized and depends on your final usage, For smaller businesses or start-ups please feel free to ask about or our Monthly Branding Subscription for options that might work within your budget.
